The Department of Minnesota IT Services (MNIT), partnering with the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), intends to enter into an agreement for up to 24 months with Healthcare Academy for continued, uninterrupted use of the Learning Management System (LMS), documentation, and quality assurance tools for DVA staff.
The LMS includes, but is not limited to, the Competency Documentation Tool (collectively, the “Products”). The Products consist of eLearning instructional modules designed to provide required healthcare training and to function as a records management platform, which may also be utilized for auditing and compliance purposes.
The current system satisfies the specific operational requirements of the DVA by delivering standardized educational content that adheres to all applicable regulatory mandates, supporting the creation and distribution of customized training materials, and enabling additional configuration options necessary to meet DVA’s unique business needs. Healthcare Academy retains exclusive ownership, copyrights, and trademarks of their proprietary services. The State believes these services are not available through third-party entities, deeming this a sole source purchase.
