Bids may be submitted by either of the following methods:
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Madison County, Mississippi at the Madison County Courthouse, Chancery Clerk's
Office, Rooms 225-228, 146 West Center Street, Canton, Mississippi 39046, until 10:00 am on the 13th day of August, 2026, and shortly
thereafter publicly opened for the construction of 0.312 miles of MAINTENANCE (OTHER THAN BRIDGE) on the South Pear Orchard Road being
known as State Aid Program (SAP) Project No. SAP-45(24)M in Madison County Mississippi.
Electronic Bids will be received until 10:00 am on the 13th day of August, 2026, as a PDF file via Madison County's website at
http://www.madison-co.com/bids. Each bidder submitting a bid electronically as a PDF file shall include its Certificate of Responsibility
Number as part of its PDF electronic bid submittal. Any electronic PDF bid that does not include the bidder's Certificate of Responsibility
Number shall not be considered.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:
CONTRACT TIME: 60 Working Days
The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of published quantities.
The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this
advertisement; minority business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be
discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS are on file in the Office of the Chancery Clerk of Madison County, Brad Engels, the State Aid Engineer's office
and the Office of the State Aid Engineer, 412 E. Woodrow Wilson Avenue, Jackson, Mississippi. This project shall be constructed in
accordance with the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction.
Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Madison County and the State of Mississippi must accompany
each proposal.
Plans and Proposals may be secured at no charge by either of the following methods:

PRINTED COPIES OF THE PLANS AND PROPOSALS may be secured from Brad Engels, State Aid Engineer for Madison County, Mississippi, 2600
Lakeland Terrace, Suite 200, Jackson, MS 39216. The Cost is fifty dollars ($50.00) per copy for the plans and fifty dollars ($50.00) per copy for
the proposal, non-refundable.
Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is
tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposal will not be considered in making the award.
