Dear Proponents,
This addendum is issued to reflect the following immediately. It shall be the responsibility of
interested Offerors to adhere to any changes or revisions to the RFP as identified in this Addendum
No. 2. This documentation shall become permanent and made part of the departmental files.

Section 2 on page 5 states: “Santa Fe County reserves the right to award a
“Multiple Source Award” pursuant to Section 13-1-153 NMSA 1978, to the
bidder(s) submitting the lowest responsive bid(s) meeting or exceeding
specifications and terms and conditions for those items.” Does this mean that
multiple awards will be made and if so, will those awards be determined based
on the individual sections (A through G) listed on the Bid Sheet?
Yes, multiple awards will be made and they will be based on the items on the
Bid Sheet.
Can you please clarify the term of the contract? Page 14 refers to “a one (1)
four (4) year contract with the County” while page 26 states “one year from
the Effective Date. The County reserves the option to renew the Agreement for
three additional years for a total contract term of four years.”
The initial term of the contract will be for one year with an option to renew for
three additional years (in increments of one year). The term of the contract
cannot exceed four years in total.
Are price increases permitted throughout the term of the contract or with
renewals?
During the renewal process prices can be increased if the department is in
agreement with the increase.

With respect to the specified four-day turnaround requirement, does this time
frame include shipping and delivery to the County’s designated location(s)? If
shipping is included, please clarify whether a grace period is allowed for transit
beyond the four-day window.
The 4 days include shipping.
How many sets of gear does the County expect to send in at a time?
It could be as many as 32 (one battalion)
Will your department require service for wildland gear?
No
How should vendors provide pricing from services not listed on the price
sheet?
A quote will be requested by the department.
Will pick-up and delivery be required at multiple individual stations, or will all
shipments be consolidated at a central facility?
There will be four (4) main pick-up and delivery sites. One in each region.
Please clarify whether shipping costs may be itemized as a separate line item
in the proposal, or if all associated costs must be incorporated into the overall
cost of services?

Please provide a complete list of all moisture barrier types currently utilized
by the Santa Fe Fire Department (eg., Gore Crosstech Black, Stedair 4000,
etc.).

What does the reserve inventory for the department consist of?
20 various sets of Gear. Fire-Dex, Globe, Morning Pride
How will the County assess and verify that ISPs are fully compliant with the
stated requirements?
ISPs will be required to demonstrate and maintain compliance with all
applicable standards, including NFPA 1851 (Standard on Selection, Care, and
Maintenance of Protective Ensembles for Structural Fire Fighting and
Proximity Fire Fighting). Verification may include submission of current
certifications, accreditations, and documented quality assurance processes.

Please add this Addendum No. 2 to the original proposal documents and refer to proposal documents,
hereto as such. This and all subsequent addenda will become part of any resulting contract documents
and have effects as if original issued. All other unaffected sections will have their original
interpretation and remain in full force and effect. Responders are reminded that any questions or need
