Engineering Service Providers - Transmission Lines
Synopsis:

This competition is available on MERX (https://www.merx4.merx.com/saskpower), and all amendments, addenda, clarifications, and further instructions will also be posted on MERX.

Additional Information:

SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.

Under this RFSQ SaskPower intends to establish a list of suppliers, who have entered a Master Engineering Services Agreement with SaskPower, that SaskPower has determined are qualified to provide any of the type(s) of engineering services required by the SaskPower Transmission Lines Engineering Department.

Prequalified Suppliers who are on the List of Prequalified Suppliers may, on an “as, if and when” needed basis, be contacted directly, or asked to compete, to enter into a Statement of Work for the provision of Services, as further described in the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix A).

SaskPower anticipates selecting up to three (3) top ranked Respondent(s) to be invited to enter a Master Engineering Services Agreement which is intended to be in place for a duration of 10 years as per the following initial and optional terms:

  • Initial Term: 3 years
  • Option Term 1: 3 years
  • Option Term 2: 2 years
  • Option Term 3: 2 years

Further, SaskPower intends to refresh this RFSQ at the four (4) year and the seven (7) year mark of the Agreement, or at such other times as determined by SaskPower. Prequalified Suppliers will remain on the list; however SaskPower may add to the List of Prequalified Suppliers. More information on the refresh can be found in section 2.7 of this RFSQ.

Refer to the balance of this RFSQ for additional information concerning SaskPower’s anticipated commercial and technical needs in respect of this RFSQ.
