Description


Sealed bids will be received by the City of Dalton Finance Department located at 300 W. Waugh Street, Dalton, Georgia 30722 until:
FRIDAY, APRIL 11, 2025 AT 10AM
for the furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, skill, equipment and incidentals unless noted otherwise for the construction of the project entitled:
DALTON PICKLEBALL COMPLEX
at which time and place the sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the designated time will not be considered.
The principal items of construction are:

The project consists of parking lot improvements, restroom-concessions building, and 15 pickleball courts, and associated site improvements. Bid alternate is include for a shade structure. Standards and specifications consist of mass grading, laser grading, utilities, asphalt paving, detention and drainage, concrete, fencing and associated electrical.
Bidders shall inform themselves of and comply with all conditions and specifications contained in the bid package, contract, related documents and State and Federal Law.
A Mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, March 20, 2025 to begin at the Mack Gaston Community Center. Please reserve time to tour the site location. Failure to attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting will result in disqualification of bid.
The bid package, specifications, and contract documents for this project are open to public inspection at the City of Dalton Parks and Recreation Department located at 218 N. Fredrick St, Dalton, Georgia 30721. The Parks & Rec Department may be contacted by telephone at (706) 278-5404 or by mail at P.O. Box 661, Dalton, Georgia 30722.
One Contract shall be awarded covering all work and the bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written ¿Notice to Proceed¿ of the Owner. The project is to be fully complete within 180 calendar days from signed Notice to Proceed. PLEASE SEE ATTACHMENTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
