Description: The work of this single bid project includes upgrading emergency generation across multiple buildings. The scope of work includes installing four new permanent generators to provide full backup power to Mills Dining Hall, the Human Ecology building, Milne Library on the main Oneonta campus, and the Biological Field Station in Cooperstown. Each building will also be equipped with portable generator connections. The project will encompass all necessary electrical infrastructure, interior renovations, and site work. This scope of work also includes hazardous materials abatement. Plans will be available after July 14, 2025, through Avalon Plan room (315-471-3333 & avalonsyr-planroom.com ).
A project walk-through has been scheduled for July 25, 225, at 10:00am meeting at the Construction Trailer, 322 West St., Oneonta, NY 13820.

All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
