Project Description: Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read by the Board of Supervisors of Stroud Township at their regular meeting scheduled to be held at the Stroud Township Municipal Center, 1211 North Fifth Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 7:00 PM, to consider proposals for contracted services to wit:
Eradication of existing/worn pavement markings and installation of new thermal plastic pavement markings on certain roads in Stroud Township.
Contractors shall be PennDOT pre-qualified. Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor and traffic control for removal of existing, worn pavement markings, and the replacement of all pavement markings per approved signal permit plans, in accordance with current applicable sections of PennDOT publications, specifications and standards.
All bids must be received electronically via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ by 4 PM, prevailing time, on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Bid Documents can be obtained at no cost on PennBid. A Certificate of Insurance shall accompany all bids. All bids shall be accompanied by a proposal security in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid, in the form of a certified check, bank cashier’s check, or satisfactory bid bond, naming as payee the Township of Stroud. The successful bidder shall furnish a performance bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) of the amount bid, naming as the payee the Township of Stroud. No bid or proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date above specified for receiving, opening, and reading of bids. All work shall be completed by June 30, 2026.
The Stroud Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any defects or irregularities in the proposals. The Board also reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder and to reject any proposal deemed not to be in the best interest of the Township.
