Damascus ARPA Recreation & Park Project

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Damascus, Georgia, for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for the construction of paved roads and playground area in Damascus, Georgia. Bids will be received at the City Hall, 8120 Joe Bryant Street, Damascus, Ga 39841, until June 10, 2025 by 3:00 P.M. (local time). Any bid received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered by OWNER. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time and location. All bids will be evaluated by OWNER and the project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 30 days of the bid opening. The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct approximately 800 linear feet of asphalt paved road, parking area, and playground area. opies of Contract Documents, Specifications, and Construction Drawings may be obtained at the office of York & Associates Engineering, Inc., 308 E. Water St., Bainbridge, GA 39817, upon payment of a non-refundable cost of $200.00. Checks shall be made payable to York & Associates Engineering, Inc. The Information for Bidders, Bid Proposal Form, Form of Agreement, Drawings, Specifications, and forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Bidders Qualification Forms, and other Contract. A list of persons who purchased Contract Documents from York & Associates Engineering, Inc. will be
available from the Engineers or via e-mail. OWNER requires a bid bond* or a certified cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid to be enclosed with the bid at the time of bid opening. Cashier's check will be made payable to the City of Damascus.
