Zoning Board of Adjustment
TAKE NOTICE that on the 17th day of August, 2026, the Millburn Township Zoning Board of Adjustment took the following actions:
1. Calendar No. 4067-25. Adopted a resolution memorializing the granting of variance relief
from section 606.2e2a (building coverage), 606.2e2b (lot coverage), 606.2e1e1a/606.2e1e1b
(side yard setback), 606.2e1g (rear yard unoccupied) and 606.2e2d (floor area ratio) of the
Millburn Development Regulations/Zoning Ordinance to Judd/Yuki Abramson to construct
an addition on the property located at 51 Chestnut Street, Millburn.
2. Calendar No. 4076-26. Adopted a resolution memorializing the granting of variance relief
from section 606.2e3d (front facing garage) of the Millburn Development
Regulations/Zoning Ordinance to Damien Pasternak to construct an addition on the property
located at 112 Fairfield Drive, Short Hills.
3. Calendar No. 4093-26. Adopted a resolution memorializing the granting of variance relief
from section 606.2e1h (rear yard setback) and 609.6a (front yard fence) of the Millburn
Development Regulations/Zoning Ordinance to R. Sharma/R. Kumari to construct an
addition on the property located at 17 Minnisink Road, Short Hills.
4. Calendar No. 4095-26. Adopted a resolution memorializing the granting of variance relief
from section 606.2e2a (building coverage) of the Millburn Development Regulation/Zoning
Ordinance to P. Goyal/M. Agarwal to construct an addition on the property located at 194
Long Hill Drive, Short Hills.
Copies of the aforementioned resolution are on file in the office of the Board Secretary, Millburn Town Hall, 22 E. Willow Street, and available for public inspection between 8:30 AM -- 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
5. Calendar No. 4052-25. Granted variance relief from section 606.2e2a (building coverage)
of the Millburn Development Regulations/Zoning Ordinance to Srikar Vadlamani to
construct a covered deck on the property located at 78 Myrtle Avenue, Millburn.
6. Calendar No. 4073-26. Granted variance relief from section 606.2e1g (rear yard
unoccupied) and 606.2e1c (minimum lot depth) of the Millburn Development
Regulations/Zoning Ordinance to Triple Properties USA to construct a new single-family
dwelling on the property located at 39 Rippling Brook Drive, Short Hills.
7. Calendar No. 4096-26. Granted variance relief from section 606.2e1e1a/606.2e1e1b (side
yard setback and 606.2e1f (combined side yard setback) of the Millburn Development
Regulations/Zoning Ordinance to Rakesh & Kavita Bordia to construct an addition on the
property located at 74 Browning Road, Short Hills.
Resolutions memorializing the decision of the Zoning Board of Adjustment with respect to the above matter will be adopted at the September 14 , 2026 meeting.
8. Calendar No. 4089-26. Announced that the application of A. Young/S. Keating, to install a
pool/patio/fence on the property located at 46 Troy Drive, Short Hills was carried to
October 19, 2026.
9. Calendar No. 4090-26. Announced that the application of David Sodowick, to install a pool
on the property located at 32 Merrywood Drive, Short Hills, was carried to October 5, 2026.
10. Calendar No. 4081-26. Announced that the application of Russell Speeders Car Wash, to
renovate/upgrade a car wash service on the property located at 17 E. Willow Street, Millburn,
was carried to September 14, 2026.
11. Calendar No. 4098-26. Announced that the application of 27 Willow Street LLC, to install
a front yard fence on the property located at 45 Ocean Street, Millburn, was carried to
October 19, 2026.
