66812-25-0026 Engineering Services & Project Management for WWII Flight School Classroom Building

Separate sealed bids will be received for qualified engineering services for the oversight and management of the Hurricane Michael Emergency Supplemental Historic Preservation Fund (ESHPF) project for rehabilitation of the WWII Flight School Classroom Building located at 14 Airport Circle, Douglas, Georgia. Proposals may be addressed to Mrs. Wynetta Bolder, City Clerk, and either mailed or delivered to 302 S. Madison Avenue, Douglas, GA 31533, until Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM. All bid envelopes should be plainly marked: BID #66812-25-0026 ¿ ENGINEERING SERVICES & PROJECT MANAGEMENT OF CLASSROOM BUILDING.

In addition to the base proposal, bidders are invited to submit an optional, separately quoted alternative bid for additional repair and rehabilitation items that may be undertaken if funding permits. If submitting an alternative bid, it must be provided in a separate, sealed envelope from the base bid and clearly labeled: ALTERNATIVE BID ¿ WWII FLIGHT SCHOOL CLASSROOM BUILDING. This envelope should be enclosed in the same package as the base bid, but must remain clearly distinguishable. Contractors will not be penalized or disqualified for choosing not to submit an alternative bid.
