Description:
The Radiologic Health Branch intends to make a single contract award to the most responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest cost. Purpose is to ensure that radiation survey and inspection instruments are calibrated and maintained on a regular basis. Currently, there are no civil service agencies that can perform these functions. This service is critical as these instruments are used to detect radiation. Interruption in services can jeopardize the health and safety for Californians from ionizing radiation. The Contractor provides all labor and material necessary to provide calibration as specified by the manufacturer for each instrument.
