Post Road South Widening - SR 9/S Atlanta Road to CR 5/Kelly Mill Road

Project Description: Providing all materials, equipment and labor for construction of the proposed widening and reconstruction of Post Road from SR 9/S Atlanta Road to CR 5/Kelly Mill Road located in Forsyth County. The proposed design includes two lanes in each direction with a 16-foot wide raised median. The proposed outside shoulder will be a 19-foot wide urban shoulder on the east side, containing curb and gutter with a 10-foot wide multi-use path, and on the west side will be a 10-foot wide urban shoulder containing curb and gutter with 5-foot wide sidewalks. The project also includes the installation of drainage structures, storm drainpipes, water lines and appurtenances, asphalt, traffic signals and markings, landscaping, erosion, sedimentation and pollution control measures, and other associated work.
