QUESTIONS & ANSWERS No. 3
Issued: January 05, 2025
Highland Oaks Park
(Support Services)
TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
The following question(s) were submitted by potential bidders with answers listed below in red:
Q-15. Will removal and disposal of the existing play equipment and surfacing be required within
the scope? If so, can more detailed photos be provided?
A-15. Yes, removal and disposal of the existing equipment and surfacing material is
required as a part of the Scope of Work. No, additional photos will be provided by the
County. The park is open to the public during daylight hours and bidders are welcome to
visit the site and take photographs.
Q-16. Please provide details of what you would like on the two playground structures. Right
now the way they are specified you could get two very small playground structures that meet the
age requirements.
A-16. Please see Appendix C Site Plan.
Q-17. My question is on the playground equipment. There needs to be a performance spec or
drawing for the two structures. This could include a couple generic drawings or a list of specific
components but without this information the bid is more like an RFP?
A-17. Please see Appendix C Site Plan.
Q-18. Do you want a 3.5" OD support post or a 5" support post?
A-18. Please see Appendix C Site Plan.

Q-19. Would you possibly have any information showing the dimensions of the area, The aerial
photo just shows a pic of the area and doesn't have dimensions.
A-19. No. The park is open to the public during daylight hours and bidders are
welcome to visit the site and take measurements.
Sincerely,
