RFP2027-005
The Town of Hamilton, Massachusetts (the "Town"), acting by and through its Select Board, is soliciting
proposals for the lease of a portion of two (2) Town-owned parcels of land located off of Chebacco Road,
Hamilton, MA, being a portion of the former Town landfill property, identified as (1) "Property A", being
approximately 5 acres of the land, Hamilton Assessor Map 75, portions of Lots 6-9, and (2) "Property B",
being approximately 8 acres of land, Hamilton Assessor Map 75, portions of Lots 3 and 10, both as shown
on plans attached hereto as Exhibit A (the "Property" or "Premises"). The Town seeks to lease both
properties for the purpose of operating recreational rod and gun clubs (or similar description of such use),
on the terms set forth in this request for proposals (RFP) The successful proposer will be required to execute
a lease on substantially the same terms.
The RFP may be obtained at the Town Manager's Office, Hamilton Temporary Town Hall, Patton
Homestead, 650 Asbury Street, Hamilton, MA 01982 after June 30, 2026, or on the Town's web page at
www.hamiltonma.gov. All proposers should provide the Town Manager's Office with their contact
information including a valid e-mail address and telephone number so that any addendums or other
information regarding this RFP may be provided directly to potential proposers. For questions or assistance,

Proposals will be evaluated by the Town Manager and/or designee, on the criteria set forth in the RFP
section entitled "Evaluation of Proposals". The lease will be awarded to the proposer offering the most
advantageous proposal, taking into consideration all evaluation criteria as well as price. The Town reserves
the right to reject any or all proposals. The Town does not guarantee that there will be an award of a lease.
Proposers may respond to the RFP for one or both properties. The Town reserves the right to award the
lease for one or both of the properties to the same proposer. If making a proposal for both properties, two
responses must be submitted (one for each property). The award of a lease shall be subject to the approval
of the Hamilton Select Board. The successful proposer must be ready, willing and able, with due legal
authority, to enter into a lease agreement with the Town no later than thirty (30) days from the date of the
award to the successful proposer
Three (3) paper copies of the proposal must be submitted to the Town Manager's Office at Hamilton
Temporary Town Hall, Patton Homestead, 650 Asbury Street, Hamilton, MA 01982 and stamped as
received no later than 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2026. The proposal shall also be e-mailed to the Town
Manager's Office at jdomelowicz@hamiltonma.gov and lwilson@hamiltonma.gov. Proposals will be
opened publicly at 11:30am at the Hamilton Wenham Public Library, Meeting Room, 14 Union Street,
Hamilton, Ma. Proposals must be sealed and clearly marked "Town of Hamilton - Lease of Former
Landfill Land - Property A" or "Town of Hamilton - Lease of Former Landfill Land - Property B".
