As part of maintaining the safety and functionality of its infrastructure, the District is seeking the assistance of contractors with expertise in alarm system testing, inspections and preventive maintenance. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide fire alarm system testing, inspections and preventive maintenance for CFTOD.
The contractor will provide the following services, as per the defined schedule and requirements:
The Contractor shall perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance of alarm systems at all District facilities to ensure that all components are in good working condition. Inspections shall include a visual examination of devices, sensors, detectors, wiring, and panels. Preventive maintenance activities shall be conducted as necessary to keep the systems operational. Reports detailing the results of the inspections and maintenance, including any identified issues or potential risks, shall be provided.
All testing, inspection and preventive maintenance shall be performed in accordance with all applicable NFPA standards.
Activities will be performed at the locations and for the equipment specified in Section 4. This includes, but is not limited to, all panels, subpanels, annunciators, sensors, detectors, verification of alarm signals, communication pathways, system integration, battery backup systems, and the testing of audible/visible alarms and their response time.
The Contractor shall be responsible for verification of all equipment.
Reports for each test, inspection, and maintenance shall be submitted to the District Representative within twenty-four (24) hours of test/inspection completion.
The Contractor must meet the following qualifications/certifications:
The bidder must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in providing fire alarm system testing, inspection and preventive maintenance.
