Description:

The Department of Human Services, Torrance State Hospital is seeking a contractor to provide SNACK ITEMS FOR DELIVERY FROM JANUARY-MARCH 2025 for consumers located at State Route 1014, Torrance PA, Westmoreland County.

Bidders will only bid on the acceptable brands and package sizes as specified. No Substitutions permitted. Product expiration dates must reach until the next delivery date. All products must be individually wrapped and shelf stable.

The quantities listed are estimates and may increase or decrease based on the needs of the facility.

Delivery dates and quantities are listed under each item. Dietary Dept will notify vendor if quantities will change for a specific delivery. Alternate deliveries may be arranged as required.

Delivery to be made the day specified, between the hours of 8:00am and 11:45pm. Delivery may not be made on a state holiday.

Award will be made by lowest price per line item.

PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER MUST BE SHOWN ON ALL PACKING SLIPS, INVOICES, AND ANY DELIVERY CORRESPONDENCE.

Bids are due November 22, 2024 by 2:00pm and must be submitted electronically. Late bids will be disqualified. Contractors must enter firm prices for all items and provide appropriate responses to all “Mandatory Attributes” contained in the solicitation. Failure to submit bid as described may result in yours being rejected as a non-responsive bidder.

ONLY ELECTRONIC BID RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR SUBMISSION. All bidders are responsible for monitoring the DGS emarketplace website to view any change notices to this IFB.
