Use of brand name is for the purpose of describing the standard of quality, performance, and characteristics and is not intended to limit or restrict competition. "Or equal" submissions will not be rejected because of minor differences in design, construction, or features that do not affect the suitability of the product for its intended use. Burden of proof that the product is equal is on the bidder. Bidders should provide with their bid submission a specification sheet or other suitable documentation which shall include, at minimum, Brand Name, Model Name, and specifications for the product quoted. This must be of sufficient detail to enable ISP to determine whether the product offered meets the requirements as stated in this bid.
Tower crews will have to be vetted through RNSB for insurance requirements and have climbing safety certifications prior to bid award.
