APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
This pre-solicitation synopsis update is a follow-up from the Surface Navy Curriculum and Training Device Development (SNCTDD) Sources Sought issued on 24 March 2025 and to the follow-up notice posted 14 August 2025.
Unfortunately, with the Government shut down and associated furloughs, progress has been delayed for the subject RFP schedule. No additional updates have been made. Any updates on this effort, to include Industry Day details, will be posted on sam.gov.
While a final date has not been set, the Government will make sure to notify industry as soon as possible with the intended date to host an Industry day for this effort.
A draft solicitation will be posted to SAM.gov prior to Industry Day. More information will be provided as soon as it’s available. Should you have any questions, please contact the Contract Specialist, David Miller, or the Procurement Contracting Officer, Sidney Galloway, as points of contact for this effort.
It is the responsibility of the potential vendors to monitor www.sam.gov for any information that may pertain to a future solicitation.
