The Acton-Boxborough Regional School District (the District), acting as the Awarding Authority, invites qualified firms to submit Statements of Qualifications for Designer Services in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 44A.5, for the design, engineering, bidding, and construction administration associated with the replacement of rooftop HVAC equipment at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, located at 36 Charter Road, Acton, Massachusetts.
The District is seeking a qualified Designer to provide professional services including evaluation of existing conditions, preparation of design documents, bidding support, and construction administration services for the installation of a new rooftop HVAC system. The selected firm will work in coordination with the District and its Owners Project Manager.
The estimated construction cost and final scope of work will be determined during the design phase. The anticipated duration of the Project, inclusive of design and construction, is expected to be completed within an approximate three (3) year period. The Designers fee will be negotiated on a not-to-exceed basis.
Minimum qualifications include registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed architect or professional engineer, along with demonstrated experience in HVAC system design and construction administration for similar institutional or educational facilities.
The RFQ will be available electronically via Project Dog. All interested firms must use the project code # 873812 to access the RFQ documents and receive any addenda.
Statements of Qualifications must be submitted electronically through ProjectDog no later than 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered.

The District reserves the right to reject any and all submissions if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the District.
