Description
The primary objective of Package #8 Segment 4 East E2 Clinton (E2C) consists of constructing an upland dredged material confined placement area (DMPA) to receive maintenance dredging material from future dredging Project 11 - Segment 4, located within the Houston Ship Channel near the Washburn Tunnel Crossing in Houston, Texas.The specific items in the scope of work include clearing, grubbing and stripping; grading; construction of outfall channels, drainage channels, perimeter ditching and other drainage features; perimeter embankment construction; drop outlet structure construction; erosion control measures; site security measures; geotechnical construction testing; topographic surveys before the start of construction, and during and after construction activities; placement of topsoil, and hydromulch seeding; demobilization and site cleanup; and related ancillary work.
