Summary:The Virginia Department of Corrections is seeking a DSBSD-certified vendor to remove, furnish and replace metal doors and frames located at Virginia Center for Women, 2841 River Road, Goochland, VA. 23063. The doors are 16 gauge thick and the door frame is 14 gauge thick. The old doors will need to be removed. New doors will need to be installed. To include door framing and new door hardware will need to be installed. Best IC cores should be used for the mortise locks, closers, and security hinges. The doors shall be painted with a primer coat of vendor's choice of primer color.
OPTIONAL PREBID SITE VISIT: The purpose of this visit is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to present questions and obtain clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation. Site visits will be conducted from November 12 - November 15, 2024 between the hours of 10:00am through 2:00pm. Please submit a valid copy (front and back) of your driver's license along with an completed a copy of the Authority of Release of Information (attachment B) and send to Donzell.Goodwyn@vadoc.virginia.gov if you wish to schedule a date/time to conduct a site visit prior to the closing of the solicitation
