Sealed Bid Specifications for Relocation and Upgrade of UHF/VHF Radio Equipment Logan County, Kentucky


Project Overview: Logan County is soliciting bids for the relocation of all existing UHF/VHF radio equipment currently installed on the existing tower located at coordinates 36.835921871465295, -86.88410166878022 in Russellville, KY. The project includes moving this equipment to a new tower located adjacent to the existing structure.


Scope of Work:

1. Carefully remove all UHF/VHF radio equipment from the existing tower.

2. Remove all old antennas currently installed on the existing tower.

3. Install four (4) new antennas on the new tower.

4. Install an additional new UHF antenna on the new tower.

5. Transfer all radio equipment to the new tower and ensure proper functionality and alignment.

6. Conduct all work in compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.

7. Coordinate with Logan County officials and maintain site cleanliness throughout the project.

8. Install customer supplied Point to Point antenna and cable on tower, coordinating installation and calibration with Logan County IT Director.


Project Meeting: A mandatory project meeting will be held on site on Thursday, March 12th at 9:00 AM CST. Attendance is required for all bidders to review site conditions and project requirements.


Project Oversight: The work will be overseen by Wilson Communications to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Submission Requirements: Bidders shall provide a detailed proposal including cost estimates, project timeline, a copy of all applicable licenses and insurance, and proof of relevant experience with similar projects. All bids must be submitted by the designated deadline specified by Logan County.
