INVITATION TO BID

The Town of Bedford, Massachusetts solicits sealed bids for furnishing the following materials and/or services for the period July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.  The Town shall have the option to renew the Contract, at their sole discretion, for an additional year. Purchases from the successful bidder in future fiscal years are contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds.

•    Treatment Chemicals
•    Road Castings
•    Resurfacing and Reconstruction Paving*
•    Trench Milling and Patching
•    Pavement Markings

Contract Documents may be examined and/or obtained beginning April 15, 2026 by registering online to download bid documents at https://www.bedfordma.gov/bids.&nbsp ; Click to select the bid that you are interested in. Please note that Bidders requesting Documents must register with valid information. Company name, address and contact information (phone and email) are required in the registration form.

*MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Pavement-Surfacing, Resurfacing and Reconstruction Paving with an estimated total value of $3,931,437.96 will be required.

Bids will be received at the Office of the Department of Public Works, 314 Great Road, Bedford, Massachusetts until 10:00 A.M. (prevailing time) on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at which time and place they will be opened and read aloud.
