THIS PROJECT INVOLVES THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN APPROXIMATELY 25,000 SQUARE FOOT 3-BAY AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE HANGAR TO SUPPORT THE BEDDOWN OF THE F-35 AIRCRAFT LOCATED IN FORT SMITH, ARKANSAS.THIS ACQUISITION IS FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. THIS SOLICITATION AND RESULTING CONTRACT ARE UTILIZING A BEST VALUE TRADE-OFF PROCUREMENTMETHOD AS DESCRIBED IN FAR PART 15.IN ACCORDANCE WITH DFAR 236.204, THE MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION IS BETWEEN $25,000,000.00 AND $100,000,000.00. THE NAICS CODE FOR THIS PROJECT IS 236220, COMMERCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. THE SIZE STANDARD IS $45,000,000. ALSO SEE FAR52.204-8.
