Q&As - 1/22/2025
1. Can both tanks be taken out of service together or will the contract need to plan to separate mobilizations?
(Each tank will be taken out one at a time.)
2. Attachment 1-CLIN Schedule, Items 0002 and 0004 indicate Wiper Seal Replacement, the tank details does not show that the tanks have floating roofs or wiper seals, please explain?

3. What is the quantity of unusable fuel which will need to be removed for disposal?
(Exact qty unknown, unusable fuel will be residual after transfer of useable fuel.)
4. SOW, Section 2.1 states that “One” 4500 gallon fuel tanker will be available to temp fuel storage, however Attachment B indicates 4400 gallons per tank will need to be removed and stored. Will the contract need to supply additional temp storage tanks? (No additional storage is anticipated, tanks will be phased and useable fuel will be transferred to sister tank or govt provided tanker as needed. The Govt will provide only one 4500 gallon temp fuel storage.)
5. SOW, Section 4.1.2 Indicates 4500 gallons of remaining fuel, please provide the correct amount of fuel which the contractor will need to handle?
(The estimated amount of the remaining fuel is 5500 gallons per each tank (2 tanks))
6. Would the Government entertain an extension for the due date for the proposal submittals once the questions are answered?
(No, Govt does not intend to extend the due date.)
