The Town of Stony Plain is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide effective, efficient and high-quality interment and maintenance services for the newly constructed municipal Cemetery.
The Cemetery is a 22.7 acres facility that is to be developed in two (2) phases, with the construction of Phase 1 (11.9 acres) recently being constructed into a cemetery site. Landscaping and surveying of Phase 1 is expected to be completed by the end of Q2, 2026 with the cemetery to be open to the public for services by the end of Q2, 2026. It is anticipated that Phase 1 will serve the community for around 40 years.
The Cemetery is designed to accommodate the following services:
· Monument Burial Plot
· Flat Marker Burial Plot
· Veteran’s Burial Plot
· Cremated Remains Plot
· Green Burial Plot
· Columbarium
· Scattering Garden
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of 5 years, with an option in favour of the Town to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to 3 years.
