The Kenton County Airport Board (“KCAB”) will receive proposals for Terminal Drive Bridge Rehabilitation. KCAB Maintenance identified issues on the surface of the bridge on Terminal Drive, which is the main entrance to the Departures Level of the Terminal at CVG. Palmer Engineering Co. performed an inspection of the surface and structural elements of the bridge and identified that the wearing surface needs to be replaced as well as patch repair throughout the bridge and a number of other necessary repairs.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Pursuant to the provisions of KRS 424.260, the Kenton County Airport Board (Owner) will receive
competitive sealed bids for the Terminal Drive Bridge Rehabilitation project at the Cincinnati/Northern
Kentucky International Airport (Airport) located in Boone County, Kentucky (the “Project”). Bids will be
received no later than 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 2, 2026. No bids will be accepted after that time
unless extended pursuant to an addendum issued by the Owner.
The Project includes the following:
bridge deck and approach slab latex modified concrete overlays;
raised crosswalk epoxy-urethane overlay;
concrete patching and Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) wrap repairs;
silane sealing;
traffic and pedestrian barrier wall repairs;
pedestrian rail painting;
transverse strip seal replacement; longitudinal strip seal retrofit;
elastomeric bearing retrofits;
epoxy resin slurry treatment of sidewalk and gutter-line areas;
approach pavement crack sealing; and
repair of utility junction boxes adjacent to the structure and approaches.

A Pre-Bid Meeting and site visit will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 10:00 am ET, at CVG
Centre, Admin. Offices, 77 Comair Blvd., Erlanger, KY 41018. Please RSVP by June 9, 2026, through
KCAB’s online bidding system https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cvgairport. Select Terminal
Drive Bridge Rehabilitation then click on Events RSVP and provide the name of the person attending.
Bidders shall provide a Proposal Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total main bid amount as
specified.
The Owner, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,
42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4), 28 CFR § 50.3, and 49 CFR Part 21, notifies all bidders that it will
affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, all contractors will
be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated
against on the grounds of the owner's race, color, national origin, sex, creed, age, or disability in
consideration for an award. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any
bid or bid guaranty, to reject any or all bids, to award or refrain from awarding a contract for the work,
and to negotiate with the apparent qualified responsible bidder to such extent as may be beneficial to
the Owner.
