INVITATION TO BID
Separate sealed bids for Rickey Pump Station Interceptor Sewer Improvements, Project No. 2018110, will be received by the City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities at 2806 Bryan Road, Van Buren, Arkansas until 2:00 p.m. (local time), on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at which time and location bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids shall be addressed “City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities” and shall be labeled “Bid for Rickey Pump Station Interceptor Sewer Improvements, Project No. 2018110”. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened.
This project includes the construction of approximately 3,908-feet of 12-inch gravity sewer, 22-feet of 8-inch gravity sewer, installation of nineteen (19) sanitary sewer manholes, and demolition of the existing Todd-Terry Pump Station.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and other contract documents may be viewed and/or purchased through Quest Construction Data Network via link on www.hawkins-weir.com/bidding-info and/or at www.QuestCDN.com . QuestCDN is a web-based platform for advertisements, bid document distribution, plan holder lists, and all information pertaining to the bid. Prospective Bidders should register at www.QuestCDN.com for a free ‘Regular’ membership. Enter Quest number 9244421 to access bidding information on the search page. There is a $22.00 non-refundable download delivery fee for a PDF copy (electronic) of the bidding documents. Bidders are responsible for any reproduction costs of the purchased contract documents. Bids will not be accepted from any Prospective Bidder who has not purchased contract documents through QuestCDN. Bidders will be required to inform themselves of all Addenda duly issued in accordance with the requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Information regarding the number of Addenda that have been duly issued can be obtained from QuestCDN. Prospective bidders may schedule a site visit during the bidding phase by contacting the Engineer at (479) 474-1227. A minimum 48-Hour advance notice is required for site visits.
Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
All Bidders must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 17-25-101 and related statutes.
The City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Bid opening date.
This publication was paid for by the City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities, and the cost of the publication is $467.86, per Arkansas Code 14-55-208 and related statutes.
