800 MHZ Trunked Radio System Network Upgrade And Network Switching Center (NSC) Relocation For The Port Authority Police Department (PAPD)

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey intends to establish a sole source contract with L3Harris Technologies, Inc., located in Clifton, NJ, to provide the following:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: L3Harris is the original equipment manufacturer of the hardware and system software for the existing PAPD 800 MHz Radio system and served as the prime contractor for installation, integration, testing and acceptance of the system. All materials to be purchased must be compatible in form, fit and function with existing OEM parts and systems.

Firms who believe they can compete for this requirement are required to submit via email a brief statement of their intent to compete. The statement and any other questions regarding this sole source should be directed to the Buyer, Cooper Zablocki at czablocki@panynj.gov by March 24, 2025. The Port Authority does not guarantee that firms responding to this notice will be rendered a request to tender an offer for this procurement. In addition, the Port Authority does not guarantee that any solicitation will occur for this procurement, but reserves the right to solicit proposals.
