Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The Port Authority Trans-Hudson Corporation (PATH) intends to establish a sole source contract with ENSCO Rail, Inc., located in Springfield, VA to provide the following:

TITLE: Track Inspection Vehicle (TIV) Analysis – Provide System-wide, Automatic Track Inspections and Imaging Recordings of the PATH Transit System, and Maintenance of the Measurement and Inspection Systems Aboard PATH’s TIV, Three-Year Contract

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: ENSCO is the manufacturer of the TIV currently in use by PATH. Work requires inspection system operators, geometry testing, ultrasonic testing, other specific services, data reporting, and maintenance and repair utilizing parts specific to the OEM of the TIV for compatibility.

Manufacturers/firms who believe they can compete for this requirement are required to submit an email with a brief statement of their intent to compete. The statement and any other questions regarding this sole source should be directed to the Buyer, john.santiago@panynj.gov by March 24, 2025. The Port Authority does not guarantee that firms responding to this notice will be rendered a request to tender an offer for this procurement. In addition, the Port Authority does not guarantee that any solicitation will occur for this procurement, but reserves the right to solicit proposals.
