Haas CNC Machine Parts

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for Haas CNC machine repairs and installation. The compliant material is available solely from Philips Corporation, as the required compound can only be purchased through Hass Automation’s authorized distributor, Philips. The NAICS code is 333310 and the business size is 1000 employees.

The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Philips Corporation. The proposed action is for Haas equipment and support, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: Philips is the only authorized source of the required material for the Government on the open market. The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to Philips Corporation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than 12:00 PM Noon 04 March 2026. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by 12:00 PM on 03/04/2026 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
