The project is in a segment of Bale Slough- Bear Creek stretching located just West of State Highway 29 on Bella Union and Grgich Hills Wineries in Napa County. The work will consist of demolition, excavation and off-haul organic material, grading, construction of biotechnical stabilization structures and habitat features, installation of native plants, maintenance and monitoring of installed plantings for a period of three years, and deployment of erosion control measures.
The Engineer’s estimate for construction of the project is $2,566,700.

Mandatory Site Visit:
A site visit has been scheduled for May 12, 2025, at 11:00 am. Attending the site visit is mandatory for all bidders. Contractors will meet in front parking lot of Bella Union Vineyard located at 1695 St. Helena Hwy, St Helena, off Hwy 29. We will drive into the project site as a group and walk the project reach. Any contractor failing to sign up for and complete a mandatory site visit will be disqualified from the bidding process.
