The overall objective of this endeavor is to replace four condenser coils on the B-1 Carrier Chiller unit. This requirement includes the contractor to provide and install four Carrier 30RB660055 MCHX E-Coated Coil Kits that have failed on circuit “A” of the chiller located at Building 1. The Carrier Chiller is a 2008 Model, Model #: 30RBA13064-517-3, Serial #: 1908Q86121.
Evacuating all the R410a refrigerant from the chiller unit’s A Circuit and test to make sure there is no contamination in the refrigerant. Remove the existing, failed, condenser coils. Install new, contractor-provided, Carrier coil kits. Vacuum down the A Circuit and charge with nitrogen to test for any leaks. Add refrigerant back into the A Circuit and if new R410a is being introduced into the system, add Galgon Easy Seal.
