The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) has a requirement for carbon face seals (CFS). The CFS is a critical part for the ASDE-3, residing in the rotary joint, part of the antenna system.
This requirement is for two (2) different carbon face seals. Only the listed Frontgrade or Rexnord part numbers are acceptable.

Full-and-open competition will be utilized for this requirement.
Please read the attached Request for Quote in its entirety. Page 1, blocks 12-17 of the RFQ document must be completed in full. Representations and certifications at 3.3.1-35, 3.6.4-17 and 3.6.4-18 must be completed and submitted with quotes. Incomplete submittals will not be considered.
Proposals are due by EMAIL ONLY NLT September 12, 2025, 2:00 PM, Central Time. Please include the RFQ number 6973GH-25-Q-00191 in the subject line of all email correspondence.
This is an end-of-year requirement. Extensions to this date are not anticipated.
All Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management, www.SAM.gov. Per the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), clause 3.3.1-33 System for Award Management (SAM), paragraph (b)(1) “By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation.”
