Description: General – Request for Quotes DEC Division of Lands and Forests staff in Region 4 are seeking a contractor to complete improvement work on a forest road on Rensselaerville State Forest that includes ditching, culvert installation, placement of road base material, surfacing, and minor tree cutting. The scope of work consists of the following improvements to an existing forest haul road: ditching, new culvert installation, existing culvert resetting, and ripping, trucking, and installation of a base layer of shale obtained from a nearby shale pit on state land. Proposers shall adhere to the NYS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION GUIDELINES REGARDING PERMISSIBLE CONTACTS DURING A PROCUREMENT AND THE PROHIBITION OF INAPPROPRIATE LOBBYING INFLUENCE.
