Title: Actuarial Services
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 7/16/2025
Due Date: 8/22/2025
The City of Orlando’s Procurement and Contracts Division, is soliciting proposals for professional actuarial services for the City of Orlando General Employees’ Pension Plan by the General Employees’ Pension Board (hereinafter referred to as the "Board") and the City of Orlando (hereinafter referred to as the “City”) for valuation services related to accrued employee benefits. This Request for Proposal is NOT being conducted for the City’s Police Officers or Firefighters’ Pension Plans. The valuation services contemplated for the City involve determining costs and alternative funding strategies for post-retirement health care benefits. The services for the Orlando General Employees’ Pension Plan, as well as the City, should each be considered a separate engagement. The preference is that the Board and the City be served by one (1) actuarial consultant or firm, but the right is reserved to hire two consultants. Therefore, we request that separate quotes be provided for each engagement. Additional information regarding the City’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) can be found via the website https://www.orlando.gov/Our-Government/Records-and-Documents/Financial/Annual-Comprehensive-Financial-Report and pages referenced in Exhibit “2,” Orlando General Valuation and Exhibit "3", OPEB Valuation, for ACFR REFERENCES.
