Synopsis:
|
|
It is WSA’s intent to post a public procurement competition on SaskTenders which requires an Engineering Consultant to identify and evaluate conceptual level design alternatives to reinstate the original design of Lumsden flood control channel and dyke.
WSA is anticipating that the SaskTenders competition posting would be active for a minimum of four (4) weeks to ensure adequate time for submission preparation in July or August of 2025.

Description of the work:

Recent studies have determined that the Lumsden Flood Control does not meet the original design. A series of engineering studies, at increasing level of detail, are required to resolve the issues.

WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing dams and related supply channels.
