ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Sealed bids for the Bolton Hill Sports Complex, City of Veneta, Oregon, shall be addressed to Public Works Director, Kyle Schauer, and will be received at Veneta City Hall, 88184 8th Street, P.O. Box 458, Veneta, OR 97487.
Bids must be received by the City in City Hall by 2:00 pm to be considered. Acceptance of bids will be officially closed at 2:00 pm Pacific Time, May 28th, 2025, and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly opened and read at Veneta City Hall. Each bid must be submitted in an opaque, sealed envelope, addressed to Kyle Schauer, Public Works Director, City of Veneta, at the above address.Each bid must be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope with the name of the bidder, the City’s address and “Bolton Hill Sports Complex”. Bids not so marked may be disqualified. No electronic or facsimile submittals will be accepted.
The project involves Grading, Earthwork, Topsoil Placement, Seeding, Landscaping, Irrigation, Concrete, Asphalt, Utility, Electrical, Synthetic Turf Surfacing, Sports Field Equipment and related work. Project Manual including Plans, Specifications, Agreement, and Bid Forms are available at the City of Veneta’s website

Bidders are responsible for checking the website for addenda and changes prior to submitting bid, however notification of Addenda issuance will be issued via e-mail to the addresses listed on the Plan Holders List. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on May 8th at 2:00 pm. Meet at 24974 Bolton Hill Road, across from the intersection of 5th St and Bolton Hill Road. No prequalification will be required for this Project. Notice is hereby given that this contract is for Public Work, subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 relating to the payment of prevailing wages
