Newtown Township
Notice is hereby given that Newtown Township, Delaware County, PA will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) until 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2025, for the following project:
2025 De-Icing Salt Contract
For the Municipalities of Newtown, Middletown, Radnor, Marple, Upper Providence, Ridley Park, Edgmont, Haverford, Thornbury, Nether Providence and Yeadon.
Approx. 11,700 tons.
All bidding documents will be available online at no cost at www.PennBid.net beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Bids must be accompanied by an approved form of bid security equal to at least 10% of the total net bid price.
A 100% Performance Bond will be required.
All bids received will be opened and immediately available online via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) at 12:30 p.m., prevailing time on Monday, August 4, 2025.
The respective Municipal Boards of Commissioners / Supervisors / Council reserve the right to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, for any cause whatsoever, as they deem in the best interests of their respective Municipality.
