Description

Andersen Air Force Base, Guam has a 100% design-build construction requirement to repair the Marbo Booster Pump Station (BPS) Tank 2, and Wells 1 & 3.





Description of Work

The Contractor shall perform BPS 2 improvements to include installation of a dual pump system, rehabilitation of the chlorination control room, and replacement of wall between chlorination and pump rooms. Sanitary connections will be installed for restroom addition and all instrumentation and control (SCADA) systems for new pump operation. Tank 2 improvements include tank leakage inspection and recommended repairs of the internal and exterior tank walls. Additional gauges and sensors for leak protection and monitoring. Rehabilitation also includes replacement of ventilation pipes and hatch accesses, roof water proofing treatment, PVC liner and replacement of all associated corroded appurtenances. Well 1 and Well 3 repairs will include the relocation of the well, drilled outside of the building, removal and relocation of the existing pipe, conversion of existing building, and provisions for instrumentation and control (SCADA) equipment. The site will include electrical upgrades and video surveillance system with intrusion detection capabilities. The design-build contractor will design and construct the above repairs in accordance with the requirements of this contract.

TENTATIVE DATE OF ISSUE:

The solicitation number for this acquisition will be FA524025R0001 and will be available for retrieval at sam.gov once posted on or about 25 April 2025.





RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS:

This acquisition is being competed as a 100% Small Business set-aside under the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction with a small business size standard of $45 million. The eventual contract for this acquisition is contemplated to be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP).

Available planning documentation will be provided in the solicitation. A pre-proposal site visit will be advertised in the solicitation.
