Event Description
The South Dakota Department of Health (SD DOH) is seeking a contractor to organize and lead a comprehensive quality improvement (QI) program as part of Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) requirements. The awarded vendor will develop and implement a program to meet the requirements of PHAB Standard 9.1: Build and foster a culture of quality and Standard 9.2: Use and contribute to developing research, evidence, practice-based insights, and other forms of information for decision-making. Additionally, the following foundational quality measures will be met as part of the program: 9.1.1A: Establish a performance management system, 9.1.5A: Implement quality improvement projects, and 9.2.1A: Identify and use applicable research and practice-based information for progress development and implementation. In addition to meeting PHAB requirements for accreditation, a successful proposer will demonstrate how their work will unite existing QI projects within different programs of the department into a cohesive department-wide quality improvement program.

The State will to respond to offeror’s inquiries (if required) via e-mail. In addition, all inquiries and the State’s response will be posted on the state’s e-procurement system. Offerors may not rely on any other statements, either of a written or oral nature, that alter any specification or other term or condition of this RFP. Offerors will be notified in the same manner as indicated above regarding any modifications to this RFP.
