Description

This is a solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.



Solicitation Number 52801PR250000001 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).



The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03. The complete text of any of the provisions and clauses may be accessed in full at http://www.acquisition.gov/browse/index/far.



The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) has an ongoing requirement to provide “Ready for Issue” stock parts and equipment to field units in support of U.S. Government and Coast Guard missions. The U.S. Coast Guard has a requirement for the repair and calibration of one (1) RD-301A Radar Test Set, originally manufactured by Aeroflex, Inc.



Work completed under this order will cover Open, Inspect, and initial diagnostics to Report for one (1) RD-301A Radar Test Set to determine if the unit can be repaired below beyond economical repair costs. Once determined, the unit shall be repaired and calibrated to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards, individually packaged, and returned FOB Destination to CG SFLC Warehouse located in Baltimore, MD 21226.



The anticipated award date is on or before 31 March 2025. The period of performance is Date of Award – One Year.



The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541330 Engineering Services. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J059 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment– Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components.



The task order resulting from this solicitation will be issued as a FIRM FIXED PRICE task order. The award will be made to the Offeror submitting the lowest priced quotation, that conforms to the Statement of Work and has the lowest reasonable Total Firm Fixed Price. Only qualified offerors may submit bids.



UNIQUE ENTITY IDENTIFIER (UEI) NUMBER, FEDERAL TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, AND CAGE CODE MUST BE INCLUDED.
