Backfill Sand Purchase - AMENDMENT #1 :

The purpose of this Amendment is to revise the Specifications to include more technical information regarding the type of Sand required.

This adds the sand description of, "Clean Coarse-grained sand classified as SW or SP by ASTM D2487 for bedding and backfill."

Please see the attached/Revised Specifications document dated 21 MAY 25.

Backfill Sand Purchase

In accordance with FAR PART 12.603(c)(2)(i): This is a Combined Synopsis/ Solicitation (COMBO) for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC). 2025-03.

Interested Vendors are requested to review the attached Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. This is for the purchase and delivery of Backfill Sand to Mountain Home AFB, ID 83648.

Quotes are due Not Later Than 28 May 2025 at 10:00 AM (MST) Local Time.

Offerors are highly encouraged to review, read, the attached Combined Synopsis/Solicitation and Product information/Salient Characteristics document and to follow and submit the correct documents and product data for technical evaluation.
