UNIFORM & MAT RENTAL SERVICE

INVITATION TO BID

The Town of Farmington is seeking a vendor to provide new, clean, neat and identifiable work clothing and floor mats for a two-year period for approximately forty (40) employees.

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Town of Farmington at the Office of the Director of Finance, Farmington Town Hall, One Monteith Drive, Farmington, Connecticut 06032, until 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, and at that time, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid documents may be obtained at the Finance Office, Farmington Town Hall, One Monteith Dr., Farmington, CT, Monday through Friday excluding holidays, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive any or all informalities or technical defects, if it is deemed by the Town to be in its best interest to do so. Bids will not be accepted by facsimile or e-mail.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days from the actual date of bid opening.  If for some reason the contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Town of Farmington and the designated qualified low bidder.

The successful bidder is required to comply with the provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972, Executive Orders 3, 17, 11246, 11375, 11478 and, if applicable, the Connecticut Fair Employment Practice Law.
