Hurricane Wastewater Management System Restoration - Four Lift Station

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CITY OF FLAGER BEACH IS ISSUING THIS INVITATION TO BID (ITB) TO SOLICIT COMPETITIVE SEALED BIDS FROM LICENSED AND INSURED CONTRACTORS FOR THE CITY OF FLAGLER BEACH HURRICANE WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RESTORATION – LIFT STATIONS PROJECT ACCORDING TO THE SCOPE OF WORK SPECIFICATIONS. (Construction of four new submersible lift/pump stations including two (2) submersible pumps in each with associated valves, fitting, piping, manholes, and associated electrical equipment. Installation of three permanently installed standby pumps at three of the lift/pump stations. )  BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED FOR A SINGLE PRIME CONTRACT. BIDS SHALL BE ON A LUMP SUM AS INDICATED IN THE BID FORM.

IT IS THE INTENT AND PURPOSE OF THE CITY OF FLAGER BEACH THAT THIS INVITATION TO BID (ITB) PROMOTES COMPETITIVE SELECTION. IT IS THE BIDDER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO ADVISE THE FINANCE DIRECTOR IF ANY LANGUAGE, REQUIREMENTS, ETC., OR ANY COMBINATION THEREOF, INADVERTENTLY RESTRICTS OR LIMITS THE REQUIREMENTS STATED IN THIS ITB.

All applicants must be properly licensed and show proof of insurance, licenses, and certificates as required by all local, State of Florida, and Federal agencies. Successful applicants will obtain all required permitting as previously stated.

Sealed Bids must be addressed to the attention of Penny Overstreet, City Clerk. Sealed Bids must be received on or before 2:00 pm EST on Friday February 21, 2025.
