Lawn Care Maintenance MGADM

Purpose of Solicitation:
Monthly Lawn Care service for the following lab:

Alabama Dept of Forensic Sciences,
Montgomery Laboratory
525 Carter Hill Road
Montgomery, AL 36106

Service will be billed and paid on a Montly basis, for the period of award through September 30, 2025.

Mowing service (cutting, weed eating, edging, blowing) from March-October 2-3 times per month (or as needed) and October-February 1-2 times per month (or as needed). The Mowing service (cutting, weed eating, edging, blowing) is from the front of the building to the roads (Decatur/Carter Hill Rd), and the back starting from the building structure cutting up to the beginning of the back parking lot, the right side of the building to Carter Hill Road, and inside the gated area. The grassy area on the hill to the left side of the building, beside the HVAC Chillers, IS NOT included in the service.

Also includes, as needed, removing leaves, spraying weeds, beds, and paved areas, trimming scrubs, removing debris from beds, removing suckles from ornamental trees, and pruning of trees/scrubs. This service also includes spraying for ants and ant beds, as needed.

The service inside the gated area needs to be completed during weekdays between the hours of 8am-3pm.

"Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences will consider the budget when processing an award to a supplier for service. The agency must stay within budget when awarding a purchase order."
