Separate sealed bids for the Doniphan Highway and Walnut Street Sidewalk project, TAP-9900(968), to serve the
City of Doniphan will be received by the Doniphan City Clerk at the Doniphan City Hall, until 10:00 A.M., on
December 12, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The address of the city is listed above,
and located at 110 N. Grand Avenue, Doniphan, MO 63935.
The project shall consist of:
Construction of a new sidewalk on the south side of a portion of Highway Street and along the east side of a portion
of Walnut Street in Doniphan.

Bidders unable to attend the bid opening in person can teleconference by calling the city at (573) 996-2623. Bids
must still be received by the bid date deadline.
The DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) contract goals for the amount of work to be awarded for the Doniphan
Highway and Walnut Street Sidewalk, is 4% of the total project price. The bidder shall also complete the DBE
Identification Submittal forms in accordance with the General Provisions. Missouri Law, 292.675 RSMO, requires
any awarded contractor and its subcontractor(s) to provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration
(OSHA) Construction Safety Program for their on-site employees.
The Owner must award the project to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, however the owner may reject all
bids. All bidders are required to use the pre-qualification process outlined by MoDOT. See the Missouri Standard
Specifications for Highway Construction, Section 102 for additional information. Each Bidder must deposit with his
bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder
may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
The City of Doniphan hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into
pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged
individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated
against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an
award.
