The City of Paducah, Engineering Department, will receive sealed Proposals for the repair of a pipe at Pump Station #5 on April 3, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. CDT. All proposals received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commission Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, 300 South 5th Street, Paducah, Kentucky.

Pump Station No. 5 Pipe Lining
1. Project Description: Lining of 60LFT of 30" existing pipe for Pump Station #5. Also,
the installation of two (2) concrete bulkheads and the grouting of annular space as
per US Army Corps of Engineers requirements.
2. Project Need: The existing stormwater pipe has deteriorated. The City of Paducah is
performing a construction project in the area and wishes to prevent future damage
to new construction by proactively repairing the pipe in situ.
3. Scope of Work: The chosen firm will provide all necessary products, equipment,
and manpower to perform the process as specified in the selected Proposal.
4. Method of Work: The proposal of the selected firm shall determine the method of
repair. Open excavation will not be considered.
5. Proposal Format: Submittals should address the method of repair, the timeline of
repair, the requirements of the selected firm to perform the repair, and excluded
items.
6. Proposal Submission: Proposals should be submitted in sealed envelopes with
"Pump Station #5- Pipelining Project" indicated clearly on the exterior of the
envelope.
