Old New-Gate Prison&Copper Mine: Cell Block Clean, Retaining Wall Stabilization
The Connecticut State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) within the Department of Economic and Community Development is requesting proposals from qualified firms to clear vegetation out of Old New-Gate Prison & Copper Mine’s 19th century Cell Block ruins and stabilize the west lower retaining wall (hereafter referred to as Retaining Wall). This RFP is for the construction services needed to accomplish these goals. We are already in possession of the Plans and Specifications needed for this project.
