2026 Line Painting Project

Project Description: SEALED BID PROPOSALS will be accepted by Penn Forest Township Board of Supervisors until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, at the Penn Forest Township Municipal Building, 2010 State Route 903, Jim Thorpe, PA 18229 for the following:
“2026 Line Painting Project” on various roads in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County

138,864 LF of 4” Double Yellow Center Lines
277,728 LF of 4” Single White Edge Lines
All materials must meet PENNDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders need to be PENNDOT prequalified.
Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Bidding Documents can be obtained at no cost on PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. Bids must be submitted electronically via PennBid. All perspective bidders should inspect the project before bidding. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid.
All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Penn Forest Township.
The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract.
All bids will be opened publicly at the regular BOS meeting on Monday, August 3, 2026, at approximately 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows.
The Penn Forest Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township.
